Imani Lubaba – Founder and President
Imani Lubaba is a driven and passionate youth with a vision to revolutionize Tanzania's agriculture sector and contribute to the development of agriculture across Africa. He graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), and also holds a Certificate in Business Administration from the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) and a Diploma in General Agriculture from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANRE).
Lubaba has a diverse set of skills, including expertise in blogging, social media management, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and farming. He has authored multiple articles and books on agriculture, which have been widely adopted by farmers and agricultural experts. His entrepreneurial spirit has enabled him to successfully implement sustainable farming practices and empower local farmers. Beyond agriculture, Lubaba is a self-taught IT expert, which allows him to leverage technology for agricultural innovation. He continues to make a significant impact on the agricultural sector by advocating for modern, sustainable practices and improving access to farming resources.
Arnold Theodory – Chief Editor
Arnold Theodory holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). With a strong background in journalism and media, Arnold serves as the Chief Editor at Tanzania na Kilimo. He is responsible for overseeing all content creation and ensuring that the information shared through our platform is accurate, insightful, and engaging. His work plays a critical role in shaping the communication strategies and online presence of the platform.
Bahame Masoud – Camera Man
Bahame Masoud is the talented cameraman for Tanzania na Kilimo. With a keen eye for capturing powerful visual stories, Bahame is responsible for producing high-quality video and photographic content that showcases the agricultural activities, projects, and success stories within our platform. His work supports our efforts to educate and inspire farmers while sharing their stories with the world.
Ernest Michael – Animal Health Specialist
Ernest Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Health from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and a Diploma in General Agriculture from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANRE). With years of experience in veterinary practices and livestock management, Ernest is responsible for overseeing the health of animals and providing expert advice to livestock farmers. He also conducts training sessions to educate farmers on animal health best practices and disease prevention. His work plays a key role in ensuring the well-being of livestock across the platform.
Robini Praise – Extension Officer
Robini Praise works as an Extension Officer with Tanzania na Kilimo. He is responsible for providing essential agricultural advice and support to farmers, focusing on improving crop and livestock productivity. Praise also conducts training sessions during seminars and farm schools, helping farmers adopt best practices in agriculture. He is passionate about empowering farmers with knowledge and resources to increase their yields.
Edmund Chingalawa – Agriculture Expert and Training Director
Edmund Chingalawa is a recent graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture and a passionate entrepreneur. He enjoys working with youth and farmers, particularly in the field of dairy product production, and is eager to share his knowledge through Tanzania na Kilimo. Chingalawa holds a Bachelor of Science with Education in Agricultural Science and Biology.
